17 Life Saving Skincare Products for Girls Suffering from Dry Skin ...

The dry skin struggle is real. I'm one of those lucky girls with skin that runs the gamut between dry and oily, but it's the dry skin that really drives me insane. I typically get it around my mouth, chin, and eyebrows. I'll slather on moisturizer – which invariably clogs up my pores – and then apply makeup, only to discover that my dreaded dry skin shows through it and looks horrible. Awful! My latest quest has thus involved finding products for dry skin that are not greasy or oily so that I don't have to trade ugly dry patches for big, juicy zits. So far, these are the products that please my bitchy, stubborn skin the most.

Let's start with this standout skincare product. It's a mouthful to say, but it's amazing for dry skin, acne-prone skin, and sensitive skin, so it's a triple threat. It's light, not at all greasy, and fragrance-free, which makes my skin very happy.

2 CeraVe Moisturizing

Straight up, this is the only moisturizer I've ever used that always gets rid of my dry skin. I absolutely adore it. The only problem is that I personally can't use it in the summer because, although it's not greasy, that's when it tends to give me awful breakouts around my mouth and on the bridge of my nose. Blech.

3 Dr. Nicholas Perricone Coconut Quench Mist

Get it here: amazon.com

Dry skin is in need of moisture – duh. If, like me, you have a tendency to break out when you use too much moisturizer, why not simply hydrate your skin with a refreshing mist? The coconut in this mist is what makes it a winner.

4 Murad Essential-C Toner

Here's another pick from a well-known name in skincare. This one also give you a boost of vitamin C, which your skin will absolutely love.

This is made for combination skin – seriously. You'll find that it's moisturizing enough to keep your dry skin hydrated but light enough that it won't cause breakouts or make your skin look oily.

6 Fresh Rose Marigold Floral Water

Clearly, I'm a big fan of mists and spritzes. Here's one designed for sensitive skin – it doesn't contain any alcohol, but it does have amazing infusions of rose and marigold.

7 Face Oasis Shine-Neutralizing Gel

This is a must-have for shine issues – for instance, if the product you use to fight your pesky dry skin patches leaves the rest of your face looking a little shiny.

8 Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator

Get it here: amazon.com

This is hands down one of my favorite products from a brand prized for its versatile skincare. This is aptly named because you definitely do get an intense surge of moisture. It's also specifically designed to help very dry skin, as well as dry combination skin, so I feel like it's just for me!

Clinique has a wide range of awesome products for dry skin, obviously. This overnight mask is ideal for those occasions when you need something a little more powerful to battle that dry, scaly skin. The best part is that it works on your skin while you're sleeping, so you wake up to soft, smooth, hydrated skin.

15 Mario Badescu Cream “X”

I'm sometimes wary of creams just because of the whole oily issue, but wow. This one … wow.

16 Dr. Jart + Ceramidin Gel Cream

Gel creams solve that problem, though! I worried that this might leave my dry patches feeling worse than they did before, but nope – it hydrates all over and doesn't dry sticky.

17 Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

Kiehl's works. It's pricey, yeah, but it's simple and effective and, in a pinch, you can even use it on your hands, your cuticles, or your toes.
