Banana Mask

Rich in vitamin A, B and E, a banana can do wonders to your skin. It reduces dark spots, slows down the process of aging and moisturizes the skin. Just mash a ripe banana and put it on your face and neck. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and rinse with cold water. You can even massage your skin with ice cubes for 2-3 minutes after rinsing for better results. This is one of the best DIY face masks for soft skin, but keep reading for more.

2

Milk Mask

Mix powdered milk and water to form a thick paste and apply it on the face. Let it dry and then rinse it with cold water. You will instantly feel that your skin is softer and smoother.

3

Yogurt Mask

Mix 1 tablespoon of yogurt with 1 tablespoon of honey and apply on the face and neck to whiten the skin. This also helps to clear the skin of any acne and prevents further breakouts. For a spa-like treatment, mix yogurt with some orange juice and apply to skin for a healthy glow.

4

Turmeric Mask

In a bowl, mix turmeric, honey and milk or yogurt to form a thick paste. Put on your least favorite t-shirt (as turmeric leaves stains on clothes) and put the paste on your face. Turmeric, being a very powerful antioxidant and anti-bacterial agent, helps to clear acne and reduce the appearance of acne scars. Let it stay for about 10-20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

5

Papaya Mask

Papaya contains vitamin A and papain enzyme. It removes dead skin cells and rejuvenates the skin for a silky smooth finish. Peel, de-seed and cut a papaya. Blend it with honey. Apply on your face and relax for 15-20 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

Egg Mask

For oily skin, take an egg and separate the egg white. Beat the egg whites and squeeze in 1/2 a lemon. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Use this mask 2-3 times a week to get oil-free and well-toned skin.

Coconut and Green Tea Mask

For radiant and moisturized skin, mix 1 tsp. coconut oil, 2 tsp. honey, 1 tsp. green tea leaves (or 1/2 of a single tea bag of green tea) and 2 tsp. of lemon juice. See to it that the coconut oil is mixed well and doesn't separate out from the mix. Put the mix on the face and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.
