The dry skin struggle is real. I'm one of those lucky girls with skin that runs the gamut between dry and oily, but it's the dry skin that really drives me insane. I typically get it around my mouth, chin, and eyebrows. I'll slather on moisturizer – which invariably clogs up my pores – and then apply makeup, only to discover that my dreaded dry skin shows through it and looks horrible. Awful! My latest quest has thus involved finding products for dry skin that are not greasy or oily so that I don't have to trade ugly dry patches for big, juicy zits. So far, these are the products that please my bitchy, stubborn skin the most.

1. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Daily Soothing Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin
Get it here: amazon.com
Let's start with this standout skincare product. It's a mouthful to say, but it's amazing for dry skin, acne-prone skin, and sensitive skin, so it's a triple threat. It's light, not at all greasy, and fragrance-free, which makes my skin very happy.
2. CeraVe Moisturizing
Get it here: walmart.com
Straight up, this is the only moisturizer I've ever used that always gets rid of my dry skin. I absolutely adore it. The only problem is that I personally can't use it in the summer because, although it's not greasy, that's when it tends to give me awful breakouts around my mouth and on the bridge of my nose. Blech.
The secret sauce behind CeraVe's magic is its blend of three essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II), which not only restore the skin barrier but also help your skin retain moisture like a charm. It's packed with hyaluronic acid too, which is a hydration hero, attracting water to the skin’s surface and keeping it looking plump and fresh throughout the day. It’s still a staple on my bathroom shelf for those harsh winter months. It's fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, making it a safe bet for those with sensitive skin. Just wish it played nice with my skin year-round!
