How to Get Clear Skin No Matter How Little Time You Have ...

Eliza Jul 15, 2015

I love when my skin is clear and looking it’s best. On the other hand, when it’s not, I tend to spend a lot of time worrying about it. Turns out there’s a better way to use that time. Instead of freaking out, there are some easy things you can do to clear up your skin, even if you don’t have more than a few seconds to get the job done. These tips come courtesy of the experts at Shape magazine and will change the way you take care of your skin.

1. Use a Clear Body Spray on Acne – 45 Seconds

If you need to shower to get rid of sweat, bacteria and germs, but are running low on time, use a clear body spray instead. These products are designed to get rid of the icky stuff without having to rinse. This can reduce the chances that you’ll get acne on your back, chest and rear end. As soon as you can, though, take a real shower.

2. Wipe Your Face after a Workout to Prevent Pimples – 30 Seconds

Even if you don’t have time to take a full on shower after you exercise, or you want to wait and do it at home in your own shower, you should at least wipe your face to get rid of sweat and bacteria. Look for presoaked pads that contain salicylic, glycolic and mandelic acid, which cleans and freshens until you can shower.

3. Do a Deeper Facial Cleanse Once or Twice a Week with a Transforming Powder – 1 Minute

All you have to do to use transforming powder is to mix it with water. You then cleanse your face as usual with the mixture. It works to clean pores at a deeper level than traditional cleansers, helping remove dirt, debris and dead skin cells from your face. It’s easy and totally worth the effort.

4. Use a Concealer Stick to Mask Blemishes – 15 Seconds

No one wants to face the world with pimples and blackheads, right? Go ahead and leave the house because it only takes seconds to use a concealer stick. Look for one that contains salicylic acid, which helps clear pores while giving you the coverage you want. Blend the product to make it match your skin tone and you’re good to go.

5. Treat Acne While You Sleep with a Drying Lotion – 30 Seconds

A drying lotion works by drying out a pimple so it goes away faster. All you have to do is dab it on the spot before bed and let it works its magic while you sleep. Imagine waking up to clearer skin without much effort. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?

6. Treat Pimples when They Happen Instead of Waiting until You Get Home – 10 Seconds

It might sound too good to be true, but it isn’t. There’s nothing worse than discovering a pimple at work or the mall when you can’t do anything about it. Toss a quick fix pimple treatment in your bag and you’ll always be ready for what the worlds throws your way. These products are designed to start treating pimples without being seen. Perfect!

7. Kill Bacteria on Your Face That Comes from Your Phone, Make-up Brushes and Anything else – 6 Minutes

This is definitely going to be 6 minutes well spent. You need a zap device, like the Tanda, which uses the same LED light that top dermatologists use in their offices. When you aim it at a bacteria laden zone, it helps to kill the bacteria and heal the blemish. It only takes two minutes, three times each day to get the job done. The products are surprisingly affordable and will quickly become one of your favorite beauty tools.

Aren’t you glad you can get clear skin in such a short amount of time? Which of these ideas do you plan to try right away?

Awesome article!

Nice tips but does it actually work??if anyone tried pls give replies to ur trial!!

Loved it..

It's also helpful (not product wise) to keep your bedroom circulation before you turn in.

Great article! It would help a lot if some products were mentioned as well

I actually disagree with the comment that you shouldn't use coconut oil if you have oily skin. I do have oily skin and coconut oil works miracles for me. Of course it always a good idea to wash your face first but coconut oil is a great idea because it's not too thick. Also a clear body spray from what I've seen is an acne spray for your body. It dries really fast and you just spray it on and it kills bacteria. I actually don't like because it's laden with chemicals and I've never really seen improvement in my skin from that stuff, only when I switched to coconut oil and rose water.

Is exfoliation necessary if your cleanser has exfoliating beads?

Nice article

@Jenna-Jasia thanks for the turmeric idea. I will try it one day of these days. I have heard good things about turmeric. Great post by the way.
