1. Aloe Vera Gel

It's one of the best herbal remedies for skin and helps you get rid of acne more effectively than your regular chemical-laden gels and creams. Extract the gel from an Aloe Vera leaf and mash it with a teaspoon of ground rice powder. Apply the paste to your face and neck. Leave it there for 15 minutes and keep massaging your skin gently while it's on your face. Wash it off with plain water. Regular use of this face pack can help remove scar marks and reduce acne.

2. Mint Juice

Mint juice works amazingly well to help cure acne-affected skin. Take a few mint leaves and crush them well. Now, mix some fuller's earth with this juice and apply it to your face. Doing this will help control the oil secretion and promote acne-free skin.

Frequently asked questions

3. Fenugreek Seeds

This seed works due to its antibacterial properties. Soak some seeds in water and leave it overnight. Once they become soft, grind them well to make a thick paste. Now, use this paste on your face three times a week, preferably on alternate days. Leave it on your face for 30 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

4. Tea Tree Oil

This oil is accepted as an effective natural product to help eliminate acne and other skin blemishes. Pour 4 drops of tea tree oil in a cup full of water. Mix it well and use it to wash your face. You can even consider applying raw tea tree oil directly on your acne, applying it with a cotton bud.

5. Cloves

Grind 4 cloves into powder and then add a teaspoon of fuller's earth to make a paste. Apply it on your face every alternate day. You can get quick results by adding some water to this paste and applying it directly on your acne.

6. Thyme

Using thyme will help clean your skin, eliminate bacteria, and help to promote acne-free skin. Simply boil some sprigs of fresh thyme in water and use the water to wash your face. Do it daily for a few weeks to see effects. You can also use thyme to make your regular face pack more effective.

7. Basil

This herb is beneficial as a gerbil treatment for skin due to its antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties. It is beneficial for acne as well as other marks and blemishes. Take a few basil leaves and crush them to extract the juice. Add a teaspoon of honey to this juice and apply it on your face and neck. Basil kills the bacteria, whereas honey helps keep your skin moisturized. Apply it regularly to get to work on your acne.

8. Sandalwood Paste

This is among the most effective homemade treatments for acne. You can find sandalwood powder in health and Asian stores. Add some water to a tablespoon of the powder to create a paste. Apply it directly on your face and leave it there for a while. You can consider adding conch shell powder – if you can obtain some - to this paste to enhance its herbal effects.

9. Turmeric

Turmeric has antibiotic properties. It is easy to find turmeric paste in stores, or you can prepare one at home. You may want to add neem juice to this paste to enhance its effect and get rid of acne quickly and effectively.

If you’ve tried many other things to clear up your acne, it’s worth trying an herbal treatment. Although these herbal treatments should be safe as they are all-natural, discontinue use immediately if you see adverse reaction. Are you going to try any?
