I agree. Milk of magnesia works great. All you need is a little dabbed all over or on the oily places, then apply primer, foundation, and any other makeup as usual. :)

Witch hazel as a toner is good at controlling oil and is very affordable. Costs less than $5 in stores and it's natural.

the Nivea for oily skin works great also!

I've read that milk of magnesia, when used over time, can be bad for the skin. I can't recall in which ways it harms the skin but the overall idea was that using it everyday for a whole can be damaging. Not sure how accurate that is but I'd be too nervous to find out.

For anyone with acne I advise you to google a list of comodegenic ingredients and stop using your products that contain those ingredients. Especially if the comodegenicity is high & the ingredient is listed at the beginning of the ingredients list. because it is listed first that is what the product is mostly made up of. I have learned that many products that claim they don't clog pores & that are markete for acne still contain pore clogging ingredients. It really takes some searching to find cleansers that don't have those listed ingredients but my skin had been clear for a year now & I have suffered from acne & oily skin my whole life:)

2 of the most common ingredients in cleansers sodium lauryl sulfate & sodium laureth sulfate clog pores. Aveeno ultra calming foam cleanser is good, & neutrogena naturals fresh cleanser makeup remover are good alternatives that don't contain those ingredients

I used to use milk of magnesia but stopped because it broke me out. Just tried Face Matte from dkccosmetics and i'm hooked. It works for my sensitive skin.

It is also great at removing foundation

I have crazy oily t-zone - Neutrogena shine free primer works really well as well... And thanks ive been looking for a list of products to try...! :D
