Keep These 7 Skincare Products on Your Nightstand ...

By Alicia

Your skin will always tell on you. It’ll tell if you’re dehydrated, skimping on moisturizer or not washing your makeup off altogether. The good news is that taking good care of your skin shows too. These’re 7 skincare products to keep on your nightstand. Keeping them close takes care of the excuse that you’re too tired; having them in arm’s reach means you can take care of your skin from the comfort of your bed.

1 Makeup Removing Towelettes

Makeup Removing Towelettes I’ve had those nights where I fell into bed, too exhausted to take my makeup off. Most of us have! Keeping some makeup removing towelettes on your nightstand means you never have to sleep in your makeup again. You can remove your makeup easily from under your favorite covers. This doesn’t usually do as good of a job as removing your makeup with cleanser and water but it’s better than not removing it at all.

2 Acne Treatment Gel

Acne Treatment Gel If acne is an issue for you then it’s good to keep an acne treatment product on your nightstand to treat flare ups. Acne treatment gels have always worked well for me but there’s a lot of room for variance here. Whatever works well for you is fine. The main thing is that you have something to deal with acne close at hand. Being consistent in your skincare makes a big difference in how blemish free your skin is.

3 Facial Moisturizer

Facial Moisturizer Moisturizer is a must for your nighttime skincare routine. There’re many different types of moisturizers you can choose from. There’re moisturizers for dry skin, oily skin, combination skin and moisturizers to prevent aging, just to name a few. I currently love the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream. My skin feels hydrated and has a lovely glow in the morning.

4 Eye Gel or Cream

Eye Gel or Cream Eye cream is something you want to start in your early 20s or even earlier. Even if you don’t see any signs of aging, it’s important. Using it early can help to delay aging by years. The skin around your eye area is very thin meaning it needs a product that’s rich in hydration, which most eye products are. Mary Kay has some great anti-aging eye products that I’ve used for several years.

5 Lip Balm

Lip Balm Lip balm is a must for your nightstand, especially now that the season of chapped lips is here. Our lips take a lot of abuse due to the exposure to cool weather, wind and sun. Nighttime is the perfect time to restore moisture to them. An EOS lip balm is what’s currently on my nightstand but Rosebud Salve is on my wish list for the next time I need a lip product. It has amazing reviews and I can’t wait to try it!

6 A Nourishing Hand Lotion

A Nourishing Hand Lotion Dry hands are an issue for almost all of us at some point during fall and winter. It’s an inevitable skin issue when the temps drop. Because of this, it’s good to give your hands some moisture at a time they can really soak it in: bedtime. There’re so many different hand lotions, creams and products that it’s impossible to name even a fraction of them. The main thing is that you’re applying something on your hands in your nightly skincare routine.

7 A Glass of Water

A Glass of Water Does it surprise you that this made the list of skincare products you want on your nightstand? It’s probably the most important one! Water is amazing for your skin. It helps your skin stay hydrated and also helps you to have clearer, healthier skin. Many people credit their good skin to drinking lots of water.

These’re 7 skincare products to keep on your nightstand for gorgeous skin. Now it’s your turn. What’s your favorite skincare product?
