I had been looking for a ginger scent in Bath & Body Works, and while they didn’t have one at the time, the sales associate told me about the Ginger line that's part of the skincare collections by Origins. She actually told me that they had tried duplicating that scent for their store, but didn’t like the results. Now, I don’t know how true that story was, but I still get my Ginger products from the skincare collections by Origins.
1 Drink up Collection
I love Drink Up mask, which is especially good for dry skin types. When your skin feels tight and flaky, reach for this 10 minute miracle in a tube. Ingredients are algae extracts and apricot kernel oil. The next product is Drink Up Intensive, an overnight mask that I haven’t tried yet, but it will be my next skincare purchase. The Hydrating Lip Balm, which comes in a variety of shades, concludes this collection. I don’t use every single product from all skincare collections by Origins, but the ones I do use are memorable.

The stellar ingredient in the A Perfect World collection is White Tea, and one of the best-sellers in this line is the Age-Defense Moisturizer. An antioxidant moisturizer that contains Maritime Pine and SPF 25, this moisturizer will help delay the appearance of premature aging. Other standouts in this line are the treatment lotion, and the antioxidant cleanser.
3 Smarty Plants Collection
Congrats go to Origins for this cleverly named top selling product line that corrects, perfects and protects. This line includes the Skin Complexion Corrector, Modern Friction for dermabrasion and the top selling VitaZing, an energy boosting moisturizer with SPF 15.
4 Plantscription Collection
This collection helps improve wrinkle length and depth in just 4 weeks. Some of the more popular products in this line include the Anti-Aging Serum, Anti-Aging Eye Treatment, and the Anti-Aging Foundation, which is makeup, and not an organization, although it sounds like one. Sign me up!
5 The GinZing Collection
This refreshing eye cream brightens, de-puffs, and reduces dark circles. The GinZing products contain caffeine from coffee beans, Panax Ginseng, and magnolia extract, to refresh and restore radiance to the eye area. Some other amazing GinZing products are the Refreshing Scrub Cleanser, Energy-Boosting Moisturizer and the top-selling Brightening Mascara.
6 Zero Oil Collection
This is the acne and oil control product line of Origins. Now, don’t think because your skin is oily that you don’t need to moisturize. You do, but with carefully chosen products, like the Oil-Free Moisture Lotion with Saw Palmetto & Mint. The top-seller in this line is the Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel. Your skin usually reacts best when you use the full range of products in a line, so you can start with the Zero Oil Deep Pore cleanser and follow with the Pure Purifying Toner.
7 Ginger Collection
My absolute favorite from all of the skincare collections by Origins is The Ginger Collection. The Whipped Body Cream is pure indulgence. The Ginger collection contains tangy ginger, olive oil, grape seed oil, and apricot kernel oil. This is not a wimpy fragrance, and therefore not for everyone. For me, it was love at first sniff. The collection includes cream bubble bath, body wash, hand lotion, skin scent, and a body scrub, which is now available in a tube. This is a nice alternative to the body scrub in the jar, which can be awkward to handle in the shower.
