1. Insufficient Sleep
Not getting enough sleep can really wreak havoc on your skin. Being a student who is both up all night partying at weekends and up all night studying on weekdays can encourage the buildup of oils and residue that can turn in to acne. Taking care of your skin and getting good sleep every night is a must.
2. Stress
Exams and deadlines can be stressful, as can the newfound social life of being a college student. Unfortunately, stress is something that can cause skin outbreaks, so you want to do as much as you can to eliminate unnecessary anxieties and worries from your daily routine. Practising mindfulness can be a good place to start.

3. Diet
College students can very easily fall in to a diet of mainly processed and junk foods, but all of those unhealthy fats and oils will show directly on your skin after a while. Try not to have microwave pizza every night in your dorm room, because your body will be screaming out for some fresh nutrients!
4. Alcohol
You might drink a lot when you are at college, that’s no secret. What you need to look out for though is the redness and look of premature ageing that can often come from too much alcohol. Try to limit your consumption to appropriate levels if you want to preserve the health of your skin. You don’t have to be wasted every single weekend!
