There are so many benefits of sheet masks. Korean beauty regimens have been all the rage lately with the Korean 10 step skincare routine. Some people modify to 7 steps or even 5 steps and for the truly lazy like me, 3 steps. Koreans are known for having clear and younger looking skin. I use to live in Korea and really had to step up my skincare regimen. One product that is a staple in every Korean skincare routine is a sheet mask.

If you don't know what a sheet mask is, it's usually a cloth material that's full of antioxidants, moisturizing properties and different types of ingredients that you put on your face for anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes. There are cutouts for the eyes (so you can see), mouth and nose. There are masks that can be biocellulose or gel masks as well. There is a wide range of ingredients you can choose from. Anything from blueberry masks (please don't try to eat it), tea tree to honey to snail to donkey milk. Yes, donkey milk. It's not as gross as it sounds. There are tons on the market that you can choose from. So, what are the benefits of sheet masks?

In Korea, some celebrities use a sheet mask every day and there is even a 7 day sheet mask challenge where you use one every day for a week. I tried it and now I'm hooked and so is my skin. Here are 7 reasons why you should do the 7 day challenge:
