Micellar water is simply micelles, which are small balls of cleansing oil molecules that are suspended in soft water. Micellar water was popular in France when the traditional plumbing wasn’t very good and ended up being harsh on skin. Micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, meaning they will draw out any impurities in your skin, while keeping it hydrated at the same time.
