Take Time with Hair Removal

One of the biggest rushes that I have when I'm working on getting my skin ready for a swimsuit is hair removal. I want to do it as quickly as possible! That's why taking your time with your hair removal is my first bikini ready skin tip! When you take your time, you won't end up with razor burns and you'll also end up with softer hair. So, be careful with your hair!

2

Exfoliate All of Your Skin

A lot of women forget that exfoliating your skin can remove all of the dead cells and make it super soft and clear! I know that I exfoliate my face all of the time, but I never thought about exfoliating my stomach, my arms and my legs – but now that I do? It really makes my skin glow and shine!

3

Gradual Self Tanner

Before you hit the sand, you might want to consider giving yourself a little bit of a tan. I use Jergen's Natural Glow so that my skin naturally and gradually becomes tanner, versus using a self tanner that will make me instantly darker and can streak.

4

Don't Forget Your Feet

One thing that you may forget when you are trying to get your skin bikini ready is your feet. Don't do that! Your feet need to be scrubbed, exfoliated and moisturized too! For me, I use a pumice stone and then I lotion them every single night with a foot balm. This keeps my heels beautiful and my arches looking awesome!

5

Acne Fighting Body Wash

Do you have acne all over your back or arms? You don't want that when you are slipping into something so revealing! Instead, knock that acne out with an acne fighting body wash. Don't use your typical face wash, instead find a body wash that has some awesome acne clearing properties inside of it!

Use Sunscreen

You are probably thinking that this is a given, right? Well, most people forget that sunscreen is needed all year round, even when there isn't a whole lot of sun out! I use a bit of sunscreen on any part of my skin that I think is going to be exposed to the sun, to make sure that it is protected!

7

Hydrate Yourself

Finally, keeping your skin plump and super beautiful requires water – drinking a lot of water! Hydrating yourself will not only clear out acne and keep your skin looking fresh and clean, but water will do wonders for your entire body, so make sure that you toss a bottle of water in with your beach kit!

So, now that you know exactly how to get your skin ready for your bikini, what are you looking forward to the most when summer rolls around? Is it the swimming, the warm weather, the long lazy days? Tell me!

Awesome!!! Totally saving this!!!!

What if u have stretch marks?

I'm just wondering what do you do with your feet if you dance? I can't get them soft because it would give me more blisters in my pointe shoes so what do I do? Just leave them alone?

A fruit and vegetable diet will also do wonders with your skin!

It works!!

Lush makes a great exfoliator for the body. I feel so soft after I use it! ^.^

I use white sugar mixed with body wash for exfoliant. Use a rich lotion right after stepping out of the shower while you're still damp.
