Make Changes to Your Daily Diet

dish, meal, food, brunch, restaurant, What you eat can play a role in the good looks of your skin. It can also make your skin look dull and lifeless. Skin needs certain nutrients if you want it to glow so you’ve got to be sure you are getting adequate amounts of them on a regular basis. Skincare experts recommend fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains and lean protein. These foods ensure that you are getting important vitamins and minerals. At the same time, avoid sugar and junk food, which are often low in nutrients and can make your skin look dry and dull.

2

Stop Rushing through Your Washing Routine

hair, black hair, hairstyle, blond, long hair, Even if you wash your face daily, you might not be spending enough time on it to make it worthwhile. You’ve got to take the time to pay careful attention to your entire face so that you don’t miss any spots. Using a filter on your faucet to get cleaner water is also a good idea. Take your time when you wash your face and you will be a lot happier with the results.

3

Quit Picking at Your Pimples

face, hair, human action, facial expression, eyebrow, I know all too well how tempting it is to pick and pop blemishes in the hope that they go away sooner. However, messing around with your breakouts can spread bacteria, leading to more zits. It can also cause scarring and redness that is hard to cover up with your makeup. As hard as it can be, leaving your face alone is one of the most important steps you can take to get the glowing skin you want.

4

Try to Get More Sleep

white, photograph, image, red, woman, A lack of slumber can really do a number on your skin. When you sleep, your skin works to restore and refresh itself, which is important for anti-aging and a radiant complexion. The amount you need may vary from the next person, but experts recommend that adults get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep every night.

5

Try the New Icing Trend

hair, human hair color, blond, human action, face, Icing involves applying ice to the various parts of your face to plump things up and stimulate blood flow. In addition, icing can reduce redness and inflammation associated with a breakout. Place an ice cube in a soft cloth and gently move it around all over your face to get the best results.

Practice Good Sun Protection

hair, human hair color, clothing, blond, person, It’s been said a million times, but it’s never too late to start babying your skin when you’re outside. Sun exposure can lead to wrinkles, age spots and skin cancer and your first line of defense is a good quality sunscreen. You should also wear sunglasses and a wide brimmed hat. This is even important during the winter because the UV rays can bounce off the snow and cause a good amount of damage.

7

Add a Skin Oil to Your Routine

hair, human hair color, face, person, blond, Applying oil to your face infuses it with important nutrients, but it also enhances that dewy look you crave. To get the most out of your oil, apply it to damp skin once or twice a day. Coconut or olive oil are great choices that won’t clog pores.

Which of these tips do you want to try first? What other ideas can you add?

That sounds great I will try it!

Ice ice baby.. yes ice on skin shrinkens a pore size and for dark circles I freeze a spoon and apply under eyes it's amazingg dark circles diminish rapidly

I use olive oil on my Full Face every day! I really love how it makes the skin smooth and glowy ✨

Coconut oil is highly comodogemic, meaning it will clog your pores and cause pimples.

Coconut oil is moderately comedogenic, so it's 😍 for dry skin, 😱for oily skin. Argan oil & sweet almond oil are non-comedogenic, maybe a better choice, but if coconut oil works for you YAY! 🤗

I think I 'll try icing it sounds great !

I like @Chelsea suggestion for oils.

Never heard of icing but it makes since, gonna try !
