2. Oats

Aside from being simply delicious, oats are a great form of treatment for dry, itchy skin. Naturally, oats contain a rich source of vitamin E, anti-oxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds that not only soothes dryness and irritation, but also promotes healthy skin. For immediate relief, a cup of powdered oats can be added to a bath of warm water and you can soak in mixture for 15-30 minutes. Alternatively, a paste of oats and water can be applied over irritated skin and rinsed off after a couple of minutes with cold or lukewarm water.
