7 Daily Facial Moisturizers That Won't Hurt Your Budget ...

By Cris

Daily facial moisturizers are basic staples to women who care about the very parts of their bodies that are central and visible to the expression of feelings and emotions. On a daily basis, you “face” people, right? Before buying your daily facial moisturizers, you should set a price ceiling – how much money are you willing to spend for this beauty product? Set a budget and determine how far (or near) can you go when it comes to spending. The price range of the moisturizers I used and still use is $9 to $25. I listed some of them below. Whether it will hurt (or not hurt) your budget is all up to you:

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer As basic as daily facial moisturizers can get – that’s how I describe Cetaphil. The most important thing about putting on moisturizer is that it leaves your skin soft and hydrated. It’s not expensive (only $12.49) and can last a long time. It has SPF 15, giving you extra protection from the UV rays that can cause wrinkles and premature lines.

Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel Cream

Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel Cream This one is for dry skin, but there’s also a variant for the normal/combination skin type. This Garnier product is about $9 (the last time I checked). It has the signature Garnier smell; it’s not greasy but it is quickly absorbed by the skin. I like using it before putting on make-up. I also used it during summer and winter as it does a good job of hydrating my skin.

Human Heart Nature 100% Daily Moisturizer

Human Heart Nature 100% Daily Moisturizer My favorite product to date! I can’t live without Human Heart Nature. We don’t have this here in China so I usually buy it when I go home to the Philippines or ask my Mom to bring it whenever she comes over to visit. This is an organic product with beet root extract. Its partner is a night cream that is also as good as this day cream. Check it out at humanheartnature.com.

Human Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil

Human Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil Another Human Heart Nature product that I love is their sunflower beauty oil that can be used on your entire body. Its 50ml bottle (1.7 oz) is only about $10 and can go a loooong way. It really helps lighten dark spots, under eye circles, and pimple marks. It can also be used as a makeup remover.

5

Olay Fragrance-Free Daily Moisturizer

Olay Fragrance-Free Daily Moisturizer I can’t name any woman who doesn’t know Olay. It’s a brand that successfully captured a certain market, who swears that it delivers its promise of creating “visibly younger-looking skin.” For $21, you get a great product that fights age spots, dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, uneven skin tone, rough texture, and prominent pores.

Neutrogena Multi-vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer

Neutrogena Multi-vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer I have acne-prone skin and I was looking for a product that has aloe vera in it because it usually helps clear those stubborn dark spots. But I didn’t find any so I got this instead. I wasn’t hopeful about this product at first, but it really proved to be a great find after three days of using it. I always recommend it to my cousins who complain about acne scars and dark spots.

Elma&Sana Moroccan Argan Oil

Elma&Sana Moroccan Argan Oil I first tried Josie Maran’s argan oil but it was just too expensive for me (1.7 oz is $48 and 4 oz is $96). So I tried looking for an alternative and my friend suggested Elma&Sana ($20 for 30 ml/1 oz). It’s a lightweight oil that can be used for the skin, hair, and nails. My general philosophy about using oil is to apply it when my skin is still damp because my skin absorbs it better.

Do you have any more suggestions for daily facial moisturizers? I’ll be more than happy to read them.

Always look for natural ingredients. ALl of these contain nasty chemicals that disrupt your natural oil production. Oil is not always bad.

I love the Palmers cocoa face cream. It always go well with sunscreen, I have to always use it due to being pale

Another face moisturizer that also is wonderful but not too expensive would have to be the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer. It's very light but moisturizers the skin very well.

I have very fair, combination skin as well as rosacea so I worry about finding products that will sop up the oil without causing irritation. I used to use aloe vera gel (and still do on dry spots on my body) but decided to try an actual facial moisturizer and went with Boots Expert Shine Control Lotion. I couldn't be more pleased and it was only about $6 for a 3.3fl oz bottle.

I cut and split a leaf from aloe Vera plant to smooth the jelly all over my face. Can't get any cheaper than that! A little goes a long way if you slice it lengthwise .
