8 Tips for Smaller Pores ...

Smaller Pores make your skin look smoother, softer, and younger. There are a number of things that can make your pores look large, but the result is the same: your skin looks rough, uneven, and coarse. That can seriously age you, and no one wants that. When you have soft, supple skin, you don't even need any makeup; your skin – and your small pores – will carry you no matter what your age. All you need are some great skincare tips in order to make your pores look much smaller.

1

Keep an Eye on Collagen

If you want to get smaller pores, you absolutely have to look for good skincare products. It's especially important to look for products that increase the production of collagen. While you're at it, look for skincare items that increase the elastin in your skin, too. Both keep your skin supple and stop it from stretching, which in turn keeps your pores from getting larger.

2

Use Vitamin C for Smaller Pores

Vitamin C is absolutely necessary if you want small pores. As a matter of fact, vitamin C itself will increase your skin's production of both collagen and elastin. You can look for products that contain it, or you can incorporate it into your daily diet or taking daily vitamin supplements.

3

Banish Dead Skin

When dead skin cells build up, you can say goodbye to the idea of smaller pores. You have to wash your face daily. It's best to look for face washes and cleansers that contain alpha hydroxy, so keep an eye out for phytic and clycolic acids. However, don't use anything too harsh, or you'll wind up with red, irritated skin.

4

Eliminate Excess Sebum

Excess sebum, or oil, can seriously enlarge your pores. Your skin naturally produces sebum, because you do need a little of it. You can keep from producing too much by using products designed to dry out excess oil. Again, stay away from anything too harsh. You want to make sure your pores aren't clogged, you don't want to irritate your skin. There are a number of homemade facial masks you can make that will do the job, but more on that later!

5

Steam Them Smaller

You don't have to go to the spa to get smaller pores. Steam treatments are excellent, but you can easily create one for yourself. All you need is hot water, lemon juice, ice cubes, and a washcloth. Fill a large bowl with plenty of hot water and hold your face over it for 3-5 minutes. After that, put some lemon juice on your wash cloth and dab it all over your face. Rinse it off with plain water, then rub the ice cubes all over your skin. Pay special attention to the areas where your pores are largest. Continue this for half a minute or so. Between the hot and cold water and the lemon juice, your pores will get smaller in no time.

Famous Quotes

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Always Exfoliate

If you want small pores, then you have to exfoliate – no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Sorry, I just channeled my parents during my elementary school years, but that's because this is really important! This is actually a great way to get rid of dead skin cells and excess oil all in one go. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get a great exfoliating product and, again, there are masks you can make yourself.

7

No Makeup Overnight

This is one of the best skincare tips you'll ever find when you want to make your pores smaller, and yet the majority of women tend to overlook it – myself included. It doesn't even make sense, because the Better Half does a facial cleanse every night, so it's not like I couldn't join in, too. Yet I always make excuses, and I bet a lot of you do, too. We shouldn't, though, because leaving makeup on overnight can create oil, blemishes, and extremely large pores.

8

Freshly Made Face Masks

Face masks are ideal for getting smaller pores, and if they're homemade using fresh ingredients, so much the better! You don't have to deal with harsh chemicals or potential irritants. Try a combination of Aloe Vera gel, eggs, and warm water, or tomato juice and calamine or sandalwood powder. Honey, sugar, warm water, and lemon juice is great for exfoliating, and the simple combo of oatmeal, water, and honey can get rid of excessive oil.

Believe you me, getting smaller pores is a completely attainable goal. You do have to work hard at it by adopting an in depth skincare regime and using fantastic products, but it's absolutely doable. If you want small pores, all you have to do is follow these tips and your skin will thank you for years to come! What skincare regimens do you follow to keep your skin supple and soft to the touch? I'd love to know any secret recipes and techniques!

Egg whites are also amazing for your pores!

im sorry im not trying to be a smartpants here, but as i know that collagen cant be absorbed through the cell, the collagen molecules are too big for our skin pores, yes it can keep your skin supple and plump, but it will never increase ur body collagen production.. it will only stay on your face, not absorbed.

Any good products for pores especially t zone area?
